Christmas 2011

We prepared a snack for Santa on Christmas Eve before going to bed, and on Christmas morning, Mer was so excited to find the gifts that he left for her. She likes playing Candy Land and Chutes & Ladders and she especially likes her new dollhouse. We had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas Cookies!

After the day care Christmas Party, we enjoyed going to Bryan & Patsi's for Christmas cookie decorating. Meredith loved frosting her own cookies, and she said that the silver sprinkles were her favorite.

AppleTree Christmas Celebration

Meredith's class did a great job singing "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" at the Christmas Party yesterday. She was really excited that Santa was there to visit as well.

Santa Parade

Mer and Gavin had a great time at the Rockford Santa Parade this morning (despite the cold rain). They both loved seeing the bands, floats, and of course, the CANDY!

Visit with Santa

We had a good time visiting Santa with his reindeer this afternoon. Mer told Santa that she would like a dollhouse for Christmas....and she mentioned that her Uncle Eric would like Michigan to win today. Santa pulled through with a victory over the Buckeyes!

Getting Ready for Thanksgiving

Meredith liked to get dressed up in her special holiday coat from Nannie & Grandpa Tom today when we went to see LaLa & Bumpa for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful afternoon!

Decorating the Tree

We got a head start on Christmas last Sunday by putting up our Christmas ornaments. Meredith absolutely loves looking at all of the ornaments with Dexter.

Halloween

Halloween was fantastic! Mer loved dressing as a princess in the beautiful outfit LaLa put together for her. She enjoyed showing cousin Gavin how to Trick-or-Treat, and she especially liked handing out candy with uncle Bryan.

Nannie & Grandpa Tom Fall Visit

We had a wonderful time when Nannie & Grandpa Tom came to visit us. We enjoyed tons of activities including a visit to the cider mill, the library, the park, the farmers market, the mall, lunches, dinners, etc etc. Meredith led the charge and loved every minute!
