Swimming!

We enjoyed a hot Sunday afternoon swimming at Patsy's sister's pool. Mer loved it - she liked to jump into the pool, splashing, and even going under the water.

Ice Cream Truck

The ice cream truck visits our street every Saturday at 4 pm - this event is a weekly highlight.
Mer chose a Spiderman Popsicle this afternoon, while Daddy opted for the "pink" ice cream cone.
It's a perfect treat on a hot day!

First Haircut

Meredith got her first haircut this morning - just a trim :-)
She was so good and not afraid at all. She was rewarded with a princess sticker!

Fun at the Park

We had a good time playing at the park with cousin Gavin. Cousins like swinging!

4th of July Pt. 2

Following the parade, we went to Lala & Bumpa's house a great hot dog picnic lunch and some pool time with Gavin and Eric. Mer loves her new "princess" bathing suit!

4th of July

We had a great Independence Day! We enjoyed the parade in East GR with Lala, Patsy, Bryan, and Gavin. Mer liked that the parade participants threw candy at the children bystanders - she ate quite a few of her favorite Dum-Dum suckers. She especially liked seeing the fire engine and listening to the bag pipe players.

Fourth of July Weekend

It's so great to be back in Rockford! The first order of business was unpacking; the second order of business was buying a new pool for the backyard. The hose yields endless hours of fun!

Visiting Gavin

We had a nice visit with Bryan, Patsy, and Gavin on Friday night. Mer loves showing Gavin how to play with his toys, and we enjoyed Bryan's grilled brats and Patsy's homemade baked beans.
