We had a good time at Blandford Nature Center on Saturday morning. We enjoyed a special pancake breakfast for the maple syrup festival and checked out lots of nature exhibits.

Blanford Nature Center
We went for an early morning hike around Blanford Nature Center. Meredith wanted to check every Maple syrup collection bucket, and she was dissapointed each time to find "buggies" in them. She also loved the Turkey Vultures but was less impressed with the smaller and less strange hawks.

Spring has Sprung
We enjoyed a wonderful 65 degree afternoon. We found a nearby park with an flat asphalt loop that is perfect for Mer's tricycle - 0.64 miles! She went all the way around and was ready for more. I can't believe how strong her legs are; she's going to be ready for a two-wheeler in a year.

Shrine Circus Part 2
The two one-hour acts of the show were separated by a 30 minute intermission, so we had a fun time checking out the animals in the petting zoo. Mer opted to stay away from the clowns, but she loved feeding the baby animals.
Shrine Circus Part 1
We had a great time at the Shrine Circus today! I don't know who had more fun admiring the performers and animals...Mommy or Mer. It was fantastic - what a show!

Nannie & Clara March Visit
