Mer at the Hudsonville Fair

We had a great time at the Hudsonville Fair with Bryan, Patsy, and Gavin.  Mer loved all of the rides, checking out the livestock, and even getting her face painted.  She definitely did not want to leave - we'll be back again next year!

Visit with Clara & Jake

We had a wonderful visit with Clara and Jake.  Mer showing her how to play with her wooden dolls and reading her "Little Red Riding Hood."  She has the story memorized.

Sunday in Saugatuck

 

We had a spent a nice Sunday afternoon in Saugatuck.  Mer was not really interested in window shopping or admiring the boats.  However, when we walked past Kilwins, she abruptly stopped and asked us, "Does this store sell ice cream?"  "Well, yes" we responded.  She quickly exclaimed, "Well, what are we waiting for?!  Let's go inside!!"  She had no problem polishing off her cone.
