Festivals & Carnivals

Here's a June roundup of overdue photos - a couple photos from Grand Rapids Festival and some photos of Mer, Charlie, and Gavin at the Rockford Start of Summer Carnival.  Mer absolutely loved all of the carnival rides, including the Ferris Wheel!

Festival and Swinging

                                                  
We went to Festival of the Arts in Grand Rapids on Sunday.  Meredith had a rainbow painted on her arm as Charlie looked on and we watched some jazz artists and dancers perform.   Mer was still ready action so we went to the park to burn some energy.  Charlie took his first ride on the swing and loved it.

Pool Fun

We had a fun afternoon swimming at the pool with Patsy and cousin Gavin.  

Now that Charlie's crawling (!) we've had to erect the playpen, and Mer likes to join him and play.

Summer Bathing Suit

Meredith was really excited to put on her new bathing suit to go to the pool yesterday.  We had a great time!  Next time, I'll remember to bring the camera to the pool to get some swimming photos!
