We had enjoyed a sunny and windy Sunday afternoon at Meijer Gardens. It's always beautiful and the kids have a great time there.

Camping! Part 1

We had a blast camping with Eric, Bryan, Patsi, Gavin, and Aubrey at Diamond Lake County Campground this past weekend! We had campfire dinners, hiked, fished, swam, snorkeled, boated, and enjoyed treats like Hi-C and s'mores. We had so much fun; we can't wait to go back.

4th Birthday Fun on the 4th

We had a great weekend celebrating Charlie's birthday and enjoying Independence Day festivities.

Mer decorated her bike for and rode in the EGR parade with other kids from Heather Downs Pool. Charlie collected lots of candy at the parade. Then the Sperlings came over for a cookout - hot dogs are still Charlie's favorite food. The theme was "Superhero" as Charlie loves all things superhero. We then watched the fireworks over Reed's Lake at a friends house. The street in front of their house is being repaved; Charlie enjoyed throwing rocks in the street more than the fireworks.
