Chuck E. Cheese's

Mer visited Chuck E. Cheese for the first time on Sunday. The location in Grand Rapids was very nice - toddler friendly. Sean and I missed the animatronic bands from yester-year (Major Magic's sure was neat), but Mer enjoyed all of the games and rides. She decided on a green fishy and a little red bug with the 61 tickets she earned.

Football Part 2

Michigan Football

We had a fun time at LaLa and Bumpa's house cheering on the Wolverines during their home opener. Mer especially liked wearing her "princess" cheerleader outfit for Uncle Eric and playing in the "princess" sprinkler gift from Uncle Bryan.

Whitecaps Game

Mer had so much fun at her first baseball game last night. She said she had fun clapping for the players, eating popcorn, eating a hot dog, and cheering. We might have to go again next week before this season ends!

Visiting with Nannie & Clara

We had a enjoyed a wonderful visit from Nannie & Clara this weekend. We loved playing at the beach, taking walks, playing with Play Doh, and eating lots of ice cream. Mer showed off her princess twirling to Nannie & Clara!

Swimming!

We enjoyed a hot Sunday afternoon swimming at Patsy's sister's pool. Mer loved it - she liked to jump into the pool, splashing, and even going under the water.

Ice Cream Truck

The ice cream truck visits our street every Saturday at 4 pm - this event is a weekly highlight.
Mer chose a Spiderman Popsicle this afternoon, while Daddy opted for the "pink" ice cream cone.
It's a perfect treat on a hot day!
