Rockford Carnival

Yesterday marked the first day of the Rockford "Start of Summer Festival." Meredith loved the carnival and she even liked riding a couple rides by herself. She declared that riding on the Ferris wheel with Daddy was her favorite ride of all!

Camping!

After nutritious and filling dinner of hot dogs, chips, and s'mores cooked over a fire in the backyard, Mer and Sean set up the tent for tonight's camping adventure. Mer is sooooo excited to sleep in the backyard tonight!

Zoo Day with Friends

We had a fun day at the zoo with our friends Ed, Erin, and Jillian. Meredith and Jillian love being pals and exploring the animal and nature exhibits.

First Fish! (and then some...)

Meredith and Daddy went fishing today and caught her first three fishes ever with her Barbie pole! Meredith wanted to eat these lake monsters (small panfish) and was dissapointed that Daddy chose to release them but understood.

Memorial Day Weekend

We've been enjoying our Memorial Day weekend. We had a picnic at the park, but a highlight was visiting the beach in Holland on Sunday....with a few thousand friends. Mer loves the water and she had a blast.

90 Degrees in May?!

Running in the sprinkler is the best way to spend a hot weekend in May!

Mother's Day

We had a nice, relaxing Mother's Day; we enjoyed visiting Holland State Park, playing at the beach, swinging on the swings, and watching the boats in the channel.
