Santa Train & Strained Vegetables

Charlie has been trying some "real food" over the past few days.  He seems to like green beans, but not the Gerber garden vegetable blend.  I'm sure he'll like fruit!  Mer and Sean had a fun Sunday outing on the "Santa Train" in Coopersville.  Mer talked to Santa, listened to the Polar Express, and enjoyed seeing the sights from the train.

Sunday at the GR Public Museum

We had a fun Sunday afternoon at the Grand Rapids Public Museum.  Mer loved all of the exhibits, especially the talking mannequins relaying historical information.   Santa was visited the museum as well; he brought ice cream and ornaments for all of the children.

Rockford Christmas Parade

We had a nice time at the Rockford Santa Parade this morning with Gavin.  Mer enjoyed another big haul of candy.

Bouncer by the Tree

Charlie likes the farm-themed circle bouncer just as much as his big sister did.  He especially likes to play near the tree and stare at the lights.

GR Santa Parade

We had a good time at the Grand Rapids Santa Parade last weekend.  Meredith saw her friend, Presley, at the parade, and they both collected a lot of candy.

Visit with Grandpa Wilberding

We spent a nice Sunday in Grosse Pointe.  We visited with John & Marie, Grandma Brown, and Grandpa Wilberding.  Mer and Charlie had so much fun playing with family!

Charlie's Baptism

We spent a wonderful weekend with family for Charlie's baptism.  It was so special to have Clara here from Colorado, to have all of Charlie's aunts and uncles here, and to have family visit from the east side of the state.  Carol deserves special photo credits for the majority of the content of this blog entry.
