Super Bowl

Charlie's pregame snack of choice was Goldfish crackers, but Daddy and Meredith enjoyed chips and salsa followed by tacos.  Mer knows that any dinner eaten in front of the TV is super special and exciting!

Fun in the Snow

We finally had a day above 20 degrees and we took advantage of the heat wave by going sledding!
Even Charlie enjoyed taking a few runs down the hill with Mommy.  We're getting ready for the Super Bowl tonight, so we'll post some more photos tomorrow!

Ballerina

Meredith enjoys wearing her ballerina outfit and performing dances nightly - lots of twirling and spinning.  While Charlie is entertained by these displays, he is typically preoccupied with dinner.  He's practicing using his fork and spoon.

Christmas

Both Mer and Charlie awoke at 6:45 am on Christmas morning, and they were so excited to see that Santa came with gifts.  Charlie was excited to join in on the action this year.
Later that afternoon, Meredith enjoyed playing outside and building a snow fort.

Christmas at Meijer Gardens

We enjoyed a fun Sunday visit to Meijer Gardens to view the Christmas tree displays.  Mer and Charlie's favorite exhibition was the miniature train / miniature Grand Rapids display.

Santa Parade

Meredith, Patsi, Gavin, and I braved the cold on Saturday for the Rockford Santa Parade.  We were rewarded with music, floats, Santa, and LOTS of candy.
