Spring Fun

Here are some recent photos of Meredith enjoying the Spring.  T-Ball (Pee Wee Sluggers) starts on Monday evening, so Mer wanted to have some practice time this afternoon.   We'll get some photos of little brother on the blog tomorrow!

Spring Concert

Meredith enjoyed her D/K spring concert Thursday evening.  The 20 minute performance was great - it was "bedtime" themed, so the students wore their pajamas and slippers for the concert.  Meredith was thrilled and exclaimed before the performance, "I'm so excited.  It's my first time on stage!!" 

Tooth Fairy Time

Big excitement this weekend!  Yes, Mer & Charlie enjoyed making a tent out of the dining table, but Mer discovered she had a loose tooth!  We picked out a special tooth fairy pillow in preparation for the big moment....and the tooth was finally ready for extraction tonight after bath time.  Mer was ecstatic!  We bought the Frozen soundtrack as a reward for her bravery, and tonight, the tooth fairy will be paying her a special visit.

Valentine's Daddy Daughter Dance

 Meredith was VERY excited for tonight's Daddy Daughter Dance in Rockford for Valentine's Day.  They headed out to the Corner Bar for a hot dog dinner prior to the dance in the high school gymnasium.  Mer was ecstatic and couldn't wait to dance.

Super Bowl

Charlie's pregame snack of choice was Goldfish crackers, but Daddy and Meredith enjoyed chips and salsa followed by tacos.  Mer knows that any dinner eaten in front of the TV is super special and exciting!

Fun in the Snow

We finally had a day above 20 degrees and we took advantage of the heat wave by going sledding!
Even Charlie enjoyed taking a few runs down the hill with Mommy.  We're getting ready for the Super Bowl tonight, so we'll post some more photos tomorrow!

Ballerina

Meredith enjoys wearing her ballerina outfit and performing dances nightly - lots of twirling and spinning.  While Charlie is entertained by these displays, he is typically preoccupied with dinner.  He's practicing using his fork and spoon.
