Children's Museum

We enjoyed a visit to the Children's Museum last Saturday. The kids liked the grocery store play area, bubbles, building with magnetic bolts and running around.

And I've included a couple photos of Charlie building puzzles, Mer showing off her artistic abilities, and Mer reading to her "class" of animals.

January into February

We've had a lot of fun the past few weeks.  Meredith's class put on a series of plays, including "The Three Billy Goats Gruff."  Mer was the chorus director, and she also starred as Toad in a Toad & Frog sketch.  She also enjoyed attending the Daddy Daughter Dance before Valentines Day.  And last weekend, we had a great time visiting with Nannie and Grandpa Tom.  We braved the cold and checked out some ice sculptures in Grand Rapids.

January Fun

We've had a lot of fun over the past few days. We went to Great Wolf Lodge for an overnight, where the kids enjoyed lots of swimming and storytime. We played outside in the snow. And this afternoon, we went to the Grand Rapids Griffins game (Red Wings minor league team). We got a tour of the arena, watched the players warm up, greeted the team as they took to the ice, and Mer got to ride the Zamboni between the first and second periods - loads of fun!

Charlie loves Hulk, Spidey, and Paci in bed with him every night.
