Fun in the Snow

We had a nice time this afternoon visiting with Patsy, Bryan, and cousin Gavin. Mer loves sledding in their backyard.

Ice Festival

We had a great time this afternoon checking out the ice sculptures at the Rockford Ice Festival. Mer really liked having her picture taken in front of the sculptures and enjoyed having a hot chocolate afterwards.

Christmas 2011

We prepared a snack for Santa on Christmas Eve before going to bed, and on Christmas morning, Mer was so excited to find the gifts that he left for her. She likes playing Candy Land and Chutes & Ladders and she especially likes her new dollhouse. We had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas Cookies!

After the day care Christmas Party, we enjoyed going to Bryan & Patsi's for Christmas cookie decorating. Meredith loved frosting her own cookies, and she said that the silver sprinkles were her favorite.

AppleTree Christmas Celebration

Meredith's class did a great job singing "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" at the Christmas Party yesterday. She was really excited that Santa was there to visit as well.

Santa Parade

Mer and Gavin had a great time at the Rockford Santa Parade this morning (despite the cold rain). They both loved seeing the bands, floats, and of course, the CANDY!

Visit with Santa

We had a good time visiting Santa with his reindeer this afternoon. Mer told Santa that she would like a dollhouse for Christmas....and she mentioned that her Uncle Eric would like Michigan to win today. Santa pulled through with a victory over the Buckeyes!
