Vacation - Day 1
We had a wonderful first day of our vacation at Sleeping Bear Dunes. We conquered the Empire Bluffs hike - 1.5 miles for Charlie (limited "Daddy Up") and we loved the spectacular views. We then went to Frankfort for a great lunch and then traveled back to the Homestead for beach time. The water is absolutely frigid, but Mer doesn't mind.

Wow...northern Michigan is so beautiful in the summer, the water so clear! Great photos of the kids and a happy Dad enjoying the start of a wonderful family vacation. Thanks so much for posting.
